Wayne Drevets, M.D.Professor
Dr. Drevets received an MD degree from Kansas University School of Medicine and then completed residency and fellowship training at Washington University. He served on the faculties of Washington University and University of Pittsburgh, and then became Chief of the Section on Neuroimaging in Mood and Anxiety Disorders at the National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH). He joined LIBR in 2009 and has formed a multidisciplinary team that conducts studies of major psychiatric disorders in which neuroimaging, biochemical and genetic markers are collected prospectively along with clinical data to investigate the interrelationships between biomarkers, genotype, illness course and treatment outcome. In August 2012 he joined Janssen Research & Development, LLC, a subsidiary of Johnson & Johnson, Inc.
