On Wednesday, August 5th at 12 Noon in Conference Room A on the LIBR campus, we will welcome Dr. Tom Foo of GE Healthcare, Chief Scientist in Diagnostics and Biomedical Technologies at GE Global Research for a presentation on GE Gradient Coils.

On Friday, August 28th at 12 Noon in Conference Room A on the LIBR campus, we will welcome Dr. Amy K. Roy, Associate Professor of Psychology at Fordham University for a presentation on "Severe Emotion Dysregulation in Children: A Dimensional Phenotypic Approach".

On Monday, August 31st at 12 Noon in Conference Room A on the LIBR campus, we will welcome Dr. Mark Finlayson, Assistant Professor of Computer Science in the School of Computing and Information Sciences at Florida International University (FIU) for a presentation on "Computational Tools for Analyzing Narratives: Three Levels". His research focuses on representing, extracting, and using higher-order semantic patterns in natural language. He received a Ph.D. from MIT in 2012, M.S. from MIT in 2001, and B.S.E.from the University of Michigan in 1998, all in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science. He is co-founder and general chair of the Computational Models of Narrative Workshop series, now in its sixth year.
